Discover Las Corts

If you’re looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a meal in the vibrant city of Barcelona, Las Corts is the place to be. Nestled in the heart of the Les Corts neighborhood, specifically at C.del Pintor Tapiró, 45, 08028, this restaurant delivers not only a comfortable atmosphere but also an unforgettable dining experience. It’s an ideal choice whether you’re a local or a tourist visiting the area.

One of the standout features of this spot is its menu, which caters to a variety of tastes while embracing the rich flavors of Mediterranean cuisine. Whether you’re craving a light salad or a hearty paella, the restaurant excels at delivering fresh, flavorful dishes. The vibrant colors and textures of the ingredients are a visual treat, while the aromas that fill the air make your dining experience that much more enjoyable.

During my visit, I couldn’t help but be impressed by the quality of the ingredients used in each dish. Take the grilled fish, for example. It was cooked to perfection, with a crisp, golden crust on the outside and tender, flaky meat on the inside. The side of roasted vegetables was the perfect complement, providing a smoky sweetness that balanced out the richness of the fish. It’s clear that the chefs at Las Corts take pride in sourcing top-quality products, ensuring each bite is a reflection of their dedication to the craft.

What really sets Las Corts apart, though, is the restaurant's commitment to offering a welcoming environment for all. Whether you’re dining solo, enjoying a romantic evening with your partner, or gathering with friends, the staff make sure you feel at home from the moment you walk in. They’re knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to offer a recommendation if you're unsure of what to choose from the menu.

A great example of their service was when I had trouble deciding between two tempting appetizers. The server suggested I try both, offering to split them for me so I could enjoy the variety. This kind of thoughtful, attentive service speaks volumes about the level of care they put into making sure guests have a memorable experience.

The restaurant's location in Las Corts gives it an added appeal, as it’s tucked away from the busier tourist spots but still easily accessible for those exploring the city. The neighborhood itself is charming, with tree-lined streets and local shops that give it a more relaxed, residential feel compared to the hustle and bustle of central Barcelona. It’s the perfect spot for a quiet, intimate meal away from the crowds.

The atmosphere inside Las Corts is equally inviting. The rustic decor, warm lighting, and comfortable seating make it the perfect place to linger over a long meal or sip on a glass of wine. You can truly unwind here, whether you're stopping by for a quick lunch or settling in for a leisurely dinner.

Another thing worth mentioning is the drink menu, which is carefully curated to complement the food. I opted for a glass of local red wine, which paired wonderfully with my meal. The wine list at Las Corts features a great selection of both local and international wines, and the staff is happy to suggest the perfect pairing for whatever you choose.

For those looking for variety, the menu also includes several options for vegetarians and those with dietary restrictions. The chefs at Las Corts are more than willing to accommodate requests, ensuring everyone can find something to enjoy.

If you happen to be in Las Corts and want to experience authentic Mediterranean flavors in a warm and inviting setting, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. With its delicious food, top-notch service, and cozy atmosphere, it’s a hidden gem in the heart of Barcelona’s Les Corts district. Whether you're in the mood for a light bite or a full-course meal, you'll walk away feeling satisfied and eager to return.

  • Coming here will keep your tongue singing hymns for a week!! Omg, seafood was super tasty, well everything was really, really tasty, the beans with black butifarra where unbeatable, as well as the dessert (sorry, I don't remember the name of the cake). Staff was excellent. It was an amazing surprise cause the atmosphere doesn't seem to be like a 5 star restaurant, but trust me, your stomach will thank you if you try. 40€ for a menu and two wine glasses, not for stingy pockets but definitely recommended for people who appreciate excellent food and good service! I'll come back again!

  • The appetizers were great, but my fish was drowned in a sauce that was strong and totally unappetizing. Couldn't finish it. Dessert was also good.

  • Insane! The menu is the chef. Or something like that. May be one of the best restaurants I have been to. Don't go with expectations. Don't think about foam or molecular gastronomy. Think food. Great insane. Tender. Amazing flavored food.

  • To describe Las Corts, you will have to delve into Catalunya and its most profound mysteries and essence. Me and my family of four had the opportunity to deep dive into it by chance and fully enjoy it!!!. After a simple visit to our favorite football team’s museum in the world “Barcelona”, we were looking for a “tradiitional” restaurant. On looking online we found this restaurant that is less than 2 blocks away from the museum. At first we thought we were looking at a simple restaurant, but, then, after our server identified himself as the owner and cook (Chef in my view) of this place. At this point, he clarified that there was NO Menu. Instead, he will recite to you the most deep-hearted and Exotic Catalonia’s plates. Next, slowly but surely. this Artist will describe why this was not just a restaurant and with an absolute mastership he started to describe each dish with complete and absolute understanding of the origins of the ingredients and reasoning behind it. As such, our Artist that happens to be disguised as a “cook” provided us with a complete gastronomic Tour of Catalonia in every dish. We ordered 6 different starter dishes that took us to the Catalonian’s shores, the forests, and farmlands. The Flavors seemed to be out of this world. Spicy, tasteful, fresh, and bold. The freshness of the ingredients resembled Catalonian’s fields and shores, to the point where you could almost taste the saltiness of ocean, the sweetness of the rivers, and the gaminess of some of the land dishes. Next, this artist offered us main dishes that again resembled a kaleidoscope of Catalonia’s land , sea, and flavors. At the end, we departed thanking Alex our host for a once-in-a-lifetime experience where the pleasure for quality meets the real passion of a unique Cheff that takes you into a journey that can only be described as Unique and Amazing !!!!
